Join Us as a Team Manager – Children in Care Team in Fylde and Wyre

Are you an experienced and passionate leader looking to make a lasting impact in the lives of children and young people? Our Children in Care Team is seeking a dedicated Team Manager to lead a committed group of social workers focused on achieving permanence and delivering exceptional care.

In this pivotal role, you will provide strategic oversight and operational leadership to ensure high-quality practice across the team. You'll champion stability, nurture, and long-term well-being for our children, while ensuring their voices are central to every decision. Working collaboratively with foster carers, residential staff, and multi-agency professionals, you will guide the development of robust care plans that promote positive outcomes.

As Team Manager, you will:

  • Lead, support, and develop a team of social workers to deliver outstanding care and safeguarding.
  • Drive performance and quality assurance, ensuring compliance with statutory responsibilities and best practice.
  • Monitor and improve key areas such as permanence planning, life story work, pathway plans, and education outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of learning, reflection, and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with senior leaders to shape service delivery and contribute to strategic planning.
