St Nicholas Catholic High School is a large secondary school and sixth form college and is looking to appoint a reliable, dedicated and skilled site maintenance officer to support the premises manager and site team in maintaining the efficient running, security and health and safety of the school site. The post holder will be a key holder, responsible for opening and closing the school buildings, operating security systems, undertaking essential building repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure the school is well maintained, clean, secure and safe for all staff and students. 

The successful applicant will preferably have building maintenance skills and experience of working in a school environment and a good working understanding of health and safety and building compliance. A team player and flexible approach to working hours in response to the needs of the school is also essential.

This is a permanent full year contract, based on between 32.5 and 35 hours per week, and includes 26 days holidays (plus bank holidays) increasing to 31 after 5 years' service. Holidays can be taken throughout the year including term time by mutual agreement.

Grade 5 – SCP6 to SCP11 £25,989 to £28,142 (Full Time Equivalent / Pro-Rata depending on hours)
