We are currently seeking a Transport & Logistics Apprentice to join our Transport Department, providing vital support to ensure the efficient planning, coordination, and delivery of our logistics operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Transport Manager with planning deliveries, routing, and cost control.
  • Assist in monitoring driver hours, vehicle maintenance, and transport records.
  • Record/report damaged loads, delays, and additional costs.
  • Help maximize lorry utilization and efficiency.
  • Provide excellent customer service and keep customers/sales teams updated on delivery changes.
  • Maintain accurate transport records (holidays, sickness, absences).
  • Follow Company practices, Quality Systems, and Health & Safety standards.
  • Build strong relationships across teams while handling information professionally.

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7:00 to 16:00.

Experience:

No prior experience is required as full training will be provided.

Good Grades in GCSE English and Maths required.

A Level Grades preferable.

The successful candidate will be enrolled for a Business Administration Level 3 or other suitable apprenticeships for this role.
