Transport Planner -Ipswich - Up to £35,000

Our client, who are a recognized transport company are looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join their team in Ipswich.

As Transport Planner, you will be experienced in dealing with distribution and routing company-owned vehicles UK-wide.

Job type: Permanent

Hours: 4 on, 4 off - Nights (6pm to 6am)

Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE

Routing company owned vehicles
You must Plan routes as cost effectively as possible
Plan routes in line with WTD and Drivers Hours
Ensure all customers are kept up to date
All necessary admin must be completed
You will be working with the Manager to ensure that all vehicles are in compliance with company standards
Perform and correctly implement General Administration, e.g. costing, agreeing charge rates with contractors, queries in accordance with the companies' requirements.The Requirements:

Extensive Transport route planning skills
Container experience required
Excellent geographical knowledge
