We are looking for a Duty Manager at our Altrincham Club to support the Facilities Manager in keeping the club running smoothly and safely.

It's a practical, fast-paced role where you'll take responsibility for opening and closing the club, completing essential safety checks, supporting the team, and making sure every member has a great experience.

What you'll do

  • Open and close the club in line with company guidelines
  • Make sure the club is fully operational at all times during your shift
  • Carry out all daily health and safety checks and ensure we meet all regulations
  • Lead and support colleagues while maintaining high standards across the club
  • Support the growth of the club by helping retain existing members and welcoming new ones
  • Respond to member questions or issues quickly, professionally and with great service
  • Step up and take responsibility for the club when the Facilities Manager is not on shift

What you bring

  • Experience in facilities, operations or a similar hands-on role
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • A calm, flexible approach — no two days are the same
  • Good knowledge of the health and fitness environment (or a willingness to learn quickly)
  • Confident communication and the ability to work well with members and colleagues
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and proud to represent high standards
