Job Description

Based out of our Peterborough office, you will be part of an award-winning IT team responsible for supporting our high quality, business-changing IT solutions into hundreds of our customers around the UK.

Responsibilities

Within this role, you will be responsible for answering phones, logging tickets and providing technical support to customers in a timely manner. You will also work with our 2nd line team to escalate issues where necessary.

Knowledge & Experience (Required)

To be our successful candidate, you will possess the following:

  • A huge passion for IT and technology.
  • Minimum 1 Years' Experience in a similar role.
  • Strong organisation & communication skills.
  • A friendly, approachable, can-do attitude.
  • Good commercial and business awareness
  • The ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly and efficiently.

Technical experience in;

  • Office 365 environments (Azure AD, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Windows Server Environments (Active Directory, Exchange, File Server, Print Server, DFS, DNS, DHCP etc.)
  • Network Troubleshooting (Firewalls, Wired Networks, Wireless etc.)
  • Windows Desktop Troubleshooting
  • Security Knowledge (Anti-Virus, Anti-Malware, Encryption, MFA Technologies)

Knowledge & Experience (Desired)

The below skills are not required to be successful, however would be beneficial to the role.

  • Have used HaloPSA for ticket management.
  • Have exposure and experience of RMM Platforms (Remote Monitoring & Management)
  • An understanding of SLA's and KPI's.
  • Experience in fast paced environments

Have a working knowledge of:

  • Watchguard Firewalls
  • Exclaimer
  • Ubiquiti/Unifi
  • Altaro (or other backup solutions that backup VM's and 365)
