Take the Lead on a Landmark Aviation Development Shaping the Future of Air Travel

We're partnering with a globally respected architecture and design practice to appoint a Senior Associate or Project Director to lead the delivery of a major international aviation project — a once-in-a-generation opportunity to shape one of the most ambitious transport hubs in the Middle East.

Based in London, you'll provide strategic design direction, lead complex stakeholder collaboration, and oversee multidisciplinary teams to bring a world-class, high-profile scheme to life. This is a pivotal leadership role with real influence, international visibility, and long-term impact.

 
What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading a flagship aviation project from early concept through to final delivery

  • Managing multi-disciplinary teams across architecture, engineering, interiors, and client stakeholders

  • Acting as the primary client interface, ensuring strong relationships and aligned vision throughout

  • Driving design quality, innovation, and programme performance across all RIBA stages

  • Overseeing commercial strategy, risk management, and resource planning

  • Ensuring full compliance with regulatory frameworks, contracts, and delivery milestones

 
What We're Looking For:

  • A proven track record delivering international, large-scale projects — ideally aviation, transport, or infrastructure

  • Senior-level leadership experience within an architecture practice or consultancy

  • Strong commercial acumen, with confidence managing budget, programme, and high-value contracts

  • Client-facing communicator, comfortable with boardroom-level discussions and consultant coordination

  • Deep understanding of project delivery, with Revit fluency and a digital-first mindset preferred

  • Experience across RIBA Stages 2–6, with a focus on delivery and stakeholder navigation
