Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting daily office operations, ensuring smooth communication, and maintaining accurate records. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong administrative skills to contribute to a professional and dynamic environment.
Working hours
Mon - Fri - 9am to 1pm (can be slightly flexible to suit school drop off and pick up)
Temporary maternity cover with possibility of extending depending on business needs
Duties
- Manage and coordinate administrative tasks to support office functions
- Handle incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
- Maintain organised filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring easy retrieval of information
- Perform data entry and update records using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks software
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations as required
- Assist in scheduling meetings, appointments, and managing calendars for team members
- Support invoicing, billing, and other financial documentation processes
- Ensure the office environment remains tidy and well-stocked with necessary supplies
- Provide general administrative support to various departments as needed
Requirements
- Proven office experience with strong organisational skills
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
- Experience in data entry and clerical tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong typing skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Previous administrative or clerical experience is preferred but not essential for highly motivated candidates
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage time efficiently
- Demonstrated organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Knowledge of office procedures and best practices in administrative support
