Electronics Engineer

BioHarv is seeking a part-time Electronics Engineer for an initial 6-month role, with a strong expectation of extension to up to two years based on performance and project milestones. This hybrid role (London-based with flexible remote options) involves designing, building, and testing electronic readout interfaces for our implantable piezoelectric sensors. You'll work closely with our multidisciplinary R&D team on circuit design, signal conditioning, data acquisition, and system integration to enable seamless communication between our implantable devices and external monitoring platforms.
This position offers an opportunity to contribute directly to the next generation of cardiac monitoring and therapeutic systems—combining electronics, materials science, and bioengineering to make a tangible clinical impact.
Qualifications
Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (BSc/MSc/PhD preferred)
Experience with analog/digital circuit design, PCB layout, and sensor interfacing
Familiarity with low-power electronics, signal processing, and data acquisition systems
Experience with implantable or biomedical systems is a plus
Strong analytical, hands-on prototyping, and teamwork skills
