About the role
We're looking for a Care Coordinator to join our Putney-based team. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, an excellent communicator, and thrives on supporting both carers and clients. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our care service.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate rotas and manage staff availability to ensure consistent care delivery
- Manage planned and unplanned staff leave, covering shifts when needed
- Be the first point of contact for client, carer, and family queries and concerns
- Escalate complaints to the Registered Manager when required
- Conduct telephone interviews and onboard new care assistants
- Deliver staff inductions and training (including record-keeping and face-to-face sessions)
- Carry out regular supervisions and ongoing support for carers
- Monitor punctuality and visit compliance using Access Care Planning
- Reconcile completed visits using PeoplePlanner
- Conduct telephone-based quality assurance and client feedback interviews
- Participate in the on-call rota, providing out-of-hours support as required

What We're Looking For
- Legally eligible to work in the UK (we are unable to sponsor visas)
- Experience working in domiciliary or community care
- Experience in a supervisory or team-leading role
- Experience working with clients, in particular, those who may have additional support needs
- Knowledge of rota planning and care coordination
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable using care rostering and planning systems
- Confident with digital tools and eager to learn new technology
- Access to a smartphone with data and a laptop to use at work
