An opportunity has arisen for a Graphic Designer to join Sonepar UK. Reporting to the senior Graphic Designer, you will be a key member of the team working on a variety of B2B campaigns and projects for our Operating Company, Routeco. This is a multi-disciplinary role that will focus on design for digital and print channels.

As our Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in shaping and evolving our company's visual identity. You'll be responsible for creating compelling graphics and multimedia content to support our marketing efforts, including website content creation, social media advertising, print collateral, presentations, and more.

You will collaborate closely with marketing and other teams to produce engaging, on-brand content that resonates with our target audience – engineers in the industrial automation space. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING TO SONEPAR UK?

A recognised degree, equivalent qualification, and proven 5 years' experience in Graphic Design, Art Design, or a related field.

Strong proficiency in industry-standard design software, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD/Figma.

Strong understanding of the digital landscape, including social media, email marketing, and content creation. Excellent attention to detail in applying typography, iconography, and visual elements to create compelling designs that align with brand identity.

A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design skills and creative problem-solving abilities.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving growth and achieving targets as part of a creative team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for brand identity and support other departments and provide design advice and support.
  • Develop artworks as templates that can be used by other departments
  • Design, produce, and maintain creative marketing content on digital and print channels in line with brand guidelines
  • Collaborate as part of the design team and work closely with our global marketing teams

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Strong sense of composition and balance
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Modern thinking and design approach
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD)
  • Figma (optional)
  • MS Office
  • Experience in marketing/advertising would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of html would be beneficial, but not essential
  • Experience in art direction for brand photography and strategic visual content planning would be desirable, but not essential
