We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Record Label Manager to oversee the day-to-day and strategic operations of our portfolio of record labels, supporting our artists, teams, and global partners.

Role Overview:

The Record Label Manager will take responsibility for managing multiple record labels within our group. This includes overseeing all aspects of label operations, release schedules, artist relations, strategy, marketing, and event coordination. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of creative vision, operational excellence, and commercial acumen to help drive the success of our labels and artists across the UK and international markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple record labels within the group, ensuring efficient execution across all departments.
  • Develop and deliver release strategies, marketing campaigns, and promotional timelines for new music and projects.
  • Manage artist relations, providing strategic and logistical support to signed artists, management teams, and partners.
  • Coordinate label events, showcases, and launch parties in collaboration with our nightlife and event divisions.
  • Liaise with UK and international stakeholders, including distributors, DSPs (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.), PR agencies, and media partners.
  • Oversee digital distribution, rights management, and metadata processes across platforms.
  • Support in the development of business and brand strategies for labels and artists under the group umbrella.
  • Monitor and analyse sales, streaming, and engagement data to inform decisions and growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across marketing, content, finance, and operations to align efforts and achieve goals.
  • Ensure compliance with contracts, royalties, and licensing obligations.
  • Ensure correct registrations, PRS PPL, and other royalty claims are being invoiced and charged
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging talent, and new technologies relevant to music and label operations.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in record label management or a label operations role.
  • Strong understanding of music distribution platforms, release management systems, and rights administration tools (e.g., FUGA, Label Engine, Believe, The Orchard, etc.).
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple releases and priorities simultaneously.
  • Deep knowledge of music marketing, digital promotion, and audience development strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with artists, teams, and international stakeholders.
  • Ability to balance creative vision with commercial objectives.
  • Familiarity with contracting, royalty accounting, and label finance processes.
  • Passion for music, nightlife, and artist development.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Experience working across multiple genres and label brands.
  • Experience of working with Overture
  • Established network of industry contacts in the UK and abroad.
  • Experience in event production or artist management.
  • Knowledge of music analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Chartmetric, Soundcharts, Cobrand, Spotify for Artists).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment.
