UPS Capital, a wholly owned subsidiary of UPS, provides risk mitigation and insurance solutions for businesses of all sizes and industries along global supply chains. We are looking for a new team member to support our underwriting group as a full-time policy administrator who is able to work independently, proactively and with excellent attention to detail.

What you'll do

Reporting to the Underwiring and Compliance Manager, you will work closely with the sales and underwriting team to provide the following key support:

  • Process insurance applications and respond to internal and external requests for information.
  • Update operational systems to maintain compliance with bound policies and contractual agreements.
  • Ensure quality and adherence to departmental guidelines
  • Processes policy modifications and renewals for existing customers.
  • Assist with other policy administration activities.
  • Perform tasks ensuring quality and overall complete customer service.
  • Coordinate communication with UPS Capital (UPSC) sales managers in their support of managing customer opportunities.
  • Investigate customer shipping background and behaviours.
  • Processes Risk Assessment Criteria (RAC) Requests

What you'll do

What you'll need

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to service delivery.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and MS-Office – Word, PowerPoint, Excel skills.
  • Studying towards or interested in developing an insurance certification.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English, additional language skills in German, French or Italian are beneficial.
