We are looking to hire a Quality Control Administrator on a full time, permanent basis. Based at our facility in Great Yarmouth the Quality Control Administrator will perform delegated tasks as given by the Quality Control Supervisor, and to help maintain the organisation's quality management system, and to further assist with communications and interactions with those reliant on its operations. To help assist and maintain a safe, healthy and sociable environment within the office as required by our HSE Policies and remain compliant to the standards held and requirements adopted by the organisation.

Duties & Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining the highest of standards for our own safety and the safety of others, including contractors, visitors, and the public, when performing all tasks and promoting a positive safety culture through teamwork and accountability.
  • Responsible for the compliance of all Health, Safety and Environmental Policies set within the organisation.
  • Assist in the daily interaction with all Managers (Beacon Park & South Denes) for the smooth transition of work relating to, transport, third party support (DNV, Bureau Veritas etc.) and related certification for receipt of stock/goods Inward
  • Assist in the production of certification and MRB Packages
  • Assist in the support of personnel within the QC Department and promote a positive drive within the QC Department
  • Assist in the acceptance of material certification into the organisation's quality management system
  • Assist the QC Supervisor in the arrangement, documentation and transport of all inspection test equipment re-calibration
  • Assist in the communication and the arrangement of third-party inspector witnesses & validations
  • Assist both the QC Supervisor and QA/QC Manager in the setting of objectives, maintaining and improving the quality management system to the requirements of our held certification standards.
  • Assist customers and visitors with general enquiries, queries and other technical knowledge (where applicable and within your capacity)
  • Assist in the raising of Purchase Orders and Delivery Notes and any other related quality control documentation
  • Assist in the answering of phone calls, visitors and transport vehicle access.
  • Responsible for the assistance in performing other delegated tasks as given by either the QC Supervisor and or the QA/QC Manager.

Required

  • Good standard of education - GCSE or above Knowledge required
  • Working knowledge of oilfield equipment, as well as Health & Safety and ISO9001, is preferred but not essential.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, whether in the engineering environment or not, is preferred but not essential.
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint) Quality Control experience Administration qualifications Internal Auditing experience (not essential)
  • Understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
  • Good organisational skills Self-motivated
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Flexible and adaptable
