We are looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen at our new waterfront café and function space. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the culinary experience in a high-profile, multi-million-pound venue serving both public visitors and private events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing kitchen team.
  • Design and deliver seasonal menus for café service and bespoke event catering.
  • Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and maintain profitability without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate with the Venue Manager and Park Management Team to meet client needs, including dietary requirements and allergens.
  • Support marketing initiatives with menu content, promotional imagery, and tasting sessions.

About You

  • Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate (Level 3).
  • Relevant catering qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a leadership role within a busy kitchen.
  • Proven ability to manage public and event catering in venues such as hotels, restaurants, or event spaces.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and financial management skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety and food safety regulations.

Working Arrangements

  • Rota-based schedule, including evenings and weekends.
