Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Manager to lead the development and management of innovative products across various technological domains. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from requirements gathering to product launch, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence product strategy within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment, utilising a broad skill set including Agile methodologies, software development processes, and stakeholder communication.
Duties
- Define and prioritise product features based on market research, user feedback, and business goals.
- Lead cross-functional teams through the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Gather and analyse requirements from stakeholders using wireframing tools such as Balsamiq and UML diagrams to create clear specifications.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure the technical feasibility of product features, leveraging APIs, Java, HTML, SQL, and AWS technologies.
- Manage project timelines using project management software like Jira and Git to track progress and resolve issues efficiently.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that products meet specified requirements before release.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment on product vision and delivery milestones.
- Oversee the creation of test cases and documentation to support quality assurance processes.
- Lead B2B sales initiatives by understanding client needs within the Internet of Things (IoT) and SaaS sectors.
- Utilise leadership skills to motivate teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience
- Proven experience in product management within a technology environment, ideally involving SaaS or IoT solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks such as SAFe alongside traditional Waterfall methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with TFS (Team Foundation Server), Jira, Git, and project management tools.
- Demonstrable expertise in software development lifecycles (SDLC), requirements gathering, analysis skills, and creating detailed documentation including test cases.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and HTML; familiarity with APIs for system integration.
- Experience with wireframing tools like Balsamiq or UML for designing user interfaces and workflows.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS is preferred.
- Excellent leadership qualities combined with strong communication skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to interpret complex data using SQL and Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint and Excel for reporting purposes. This role is ideal for a proactive professional eager to shape innovative products while working within a collaborative team environment that values expertise in both technical development and strategic planning.
