Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is desirable, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. All positions are paid, including internships, and offer opportunities for career development within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages in accordance with company standards and health & safety regulations
  • Take orders from customers accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure the bar area remains clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times
  • Handle cash and card transactions with accuracy using POS systems
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions to assist customers effectively
  • Comply with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service policies
  • Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality or food service is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
  • Excellent serving skills with a friendly demeanour
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a lively environment
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
