Permanent

Grade D - £45,091 – £53,460 

Golden Hello payment - £1,000 + £5,000 per annum; see below for further details and conditions. 

Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review 

Working 36.5 hours per week 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Practitioner Post in the Transforming care Social Work Team, working with adults over the age of 18 with citizens with learning disabilities or Autism. The team supports citizen to be discharged from hospital.

A Senior Practitioner post within Birmingham City Council involves: a lead role in improving the quality of professional social work practice and managing complex casework. These roles often involve providing technical expertise, coaching, and mentoring to other social workers, as well as ensuring adherence to legislation, standards, and departmental policies

We are looking for an organised and dependable team player who has a positive and flexible approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with being enthusiastic and self-motivated. 

The ideal candidate must be registered with Social Work England
