HIRING REGULAR AND RESERVE STAFF.

1st Call Security (SW) is a reputable provider of security services for licenced venues, large events, community and retail properties. Specialising in safeguarding patrons at venues in Cirencester and the surrounding Cotswolds. We have a great new opportunity for dedicated SIA licensed Door Supervisors to become a part of our growing team of security professionals. If you are reliable and committed with a safety focused attitude, we welcome your application for this opportunity.

Do you have limited availability? Only available one or two days a month? Looking for casual/occasional work? Not a problem We are also looking for "reserve staff".

Reserve staff work as and when their availability matches available shifts and for events requiring larger staffing numbers. You would also be added to a group which would be contacted for short notice cover in the event of staff absence/sickness. This would be on a first come first serve basis.

Position Overview:As a Door Supervisor, your role is to uphold a safe, secure and enjoyable atmosphere for the venues and events we manage. You will be responsible for managing security and safety and preventing incidents. Handling any situations that may arise with professionalism and efficiency.

Key Duties:

-Oversee entrance and exit points, verifying the age and identification of customers to ensure legal requirements for entry are met.

-Conduct courteous and thorough individual searches when necessary.

-Maintain a visible presence, discouraging inappropriate behaviour, and upholding venue rules, removing individuals when required.

-Professionally manage and resolve disturbances or incidents while remaining calm and adhering to company and legal procedures.

-Collaborate with venue management and local authorities as required.

-Complete incident reports and maintain precise records of shift events.

-Continuously monitor venue and surrounding area

-Availability to work on Weekdays & Weekends.

Salary and Benefits:

-Competitive starting hourly rate of £13-£14 per hour (subject to change based on performance and experience).

Qualifications:

-SIA Door Supervisor license essential (incl. First aid)

-Minimum 1 years previous experience or experience in a comparable field- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills

-Experience dealing with large crowds

-Experience dealing with intoxicated/aggressive customers ideal

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
