Finance Administrator

East Renfrewshire | Permanent | £30,000

The Role:

As Finance Administrator, you'll play a vital part in keeping the finance engine running smoothly. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for a broad range of transactional finance duties, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail across all processes.

What You'll Be Doing:

Purchase Ledger

  • Processing high volumes of supplier invoices
  • Matching, batching, coding, and reconciling
  • Preparing supplier payment runs and resolving invoice queries

Banking & Reconciliations

  • Assisting with daily banking and monthly reconciliations
  • Investigating anomalies and ensuring correct transaction allocations

Sales Ledger

  • Raising and issuing customer invoices
  • Supporting credit control by following up on outstanding payments

Admin & Finance Team Support

  • Maintaining up-to-date records (both digital and physical)
  • Supporting audits and participating in finance-related projects

What We're Looking For:

  • 1–2 years' experience in a finance or accounts admin role
  • Strong Excel skills and an analytical mindset
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • A confident communicator with a positive, can-do attitude
  • A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Bonus Skills (Not Essential):

  • Experience working in a high-growth SME
  • Exposure to international finance processes
  • Knowledge of tools like Concur or Approval Max
