Staff Assistant III – Gastrointestinal (GI) Administration

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Assistant III to support our Gastrointestinal (GI) program. The ideal candidate will bring 3–5 years of administrative experience in a hospital or healthcare setting, along with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and manage calendars, meetings, and travel arrangements for program leadership and teams

- Attend strategic meetings to help identify priorities and assist with implementation planning

- Track disease group financials, including expenses, reimbursements, and budget monitoring

- Support tumor board operations and logistics

- Assist with IRB submissions and progress report preparation

Qualifications

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required

College Education preferred

Experience
- Experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting 5-7 years required and Experience supporting senior-level staff 1-2 years preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with hospital administration processes and healthcare regulations.
- Professional demeanor and ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff.
