Vulnerable people facing complex life challenges need consistent and seamless support to ensure they remain engaged with vital health and wellbeing services – and to prevent them becoming disenfranchised and isolated.

Adferiad Recovery harnesses the talents and experience of long-established and leading Welsh charities CAIS, Hafal and WCADA. Our combined expertise in the fields of substance use, mental health, housing, criminal justice, and employment support enables Adferiad Recovery to meet the needs of our most vulnerable with a single, unified, and comprehensive approach.

Hours:​​ 37.5 hours per week

​Salary: £28,742.18 per annum

​Based at: Cardiff

Role Purpose: Leading and supporting the Substance Misuse Team at HMP Prescoed and Usk to deliver quality substance misuse services in accordance with service specifications and contract requirements. Provide support and guidance to caseworkers involved in assessment and care planning to identify and deliver the appropriate support and interventions to reduce risk of harm and support offender rehabilitation. Monitor caseworkers' performance to ensure that accurate and comprehensive records/data collection is maintained.
