Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee operations in our dynamic support environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in working with adults with a learning disability along with proven leadership skills. This role is essential in ensuring that our team delivers an exceptional service while maintaining high standards of care and support.

Duties

Provide excellent day to day support which is underpinned by an acknowledgment of individual's right to self-determination and citizenship. This role is designed to support individuals to actively participate in their community and to develop the skills necessary to gain authority over their life.

The Manager will provide support and mentoring to adults with a learning disability so as to equip them with the skills and confidence to live as independently as possible. They will provide assistance to individuals to reach their outcomes and increase their informal support networks and then withdraw when appropriate.

The manager leads Collaborate 4 Change in terms of organisational direction, governance culture, management, financial performance and staffing. The manager is to work alongside directors /shareholders whilst taking responsibility for the overall running of the company. This includes line managing C4C's operational staff and overseeing all aspects of the organisation, including employment, negotiating, fulfilling and implementing all support plans. The Manager therefore coordinates the planning and development of C4C as an organisation.

Qualifications

  • NVQ 5, degree or equivalent in Health & Social Care
  • At least 3 years of experience in a managerial role working with adults with a learning disability including managing a service/s
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership qualities with a focus on team management and development and at least 3 years of experience of managing a team .
  • Driver with access to own transport to enable efficient working between services.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong person centred approach

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £45,000.00 per year
