Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator/Receptionist to join our busy car/light commercial bodyshop. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment by managing administrative tasks efficiently. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and experience in office administration to contribute to a dynamic and professional setting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily administrative operations, including filing, data entry, and document management
  • Answer and direct phone calls with professional etiquette
  • Maintain organised records using Microsoft Office, our own Bodyshop Management system (training will be provided) and Sage Accounts
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and maintaining calendars
  • Support invoicing and financial record keeping through our own Bodyshop Management system and Sage Accounts
  • Handle incoming emails and correspondence promptly and professionally
  • Ensure the office environment remains tidy and well-stocked with supplies
  • Provide general administrative support to team members as needed

Requirements

  • Proven office experience or administrative experience is essential
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Sage Accounts
  • Experience with Sage Accounts or similar accounting software is desirable
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Good typing speed and accuracy for data entry tasks
  • Demonstrated phone etiquette and professional communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail
  • Familiarity with clerical procedures and office management systems
