Company Overview

We operate two busy NHS/Private dental practices located in Old Trafford and Wilmslow. Each site has a strong clinical and administrative team, with a dedicated Practice Lead in Wilmslow and a Practice Manager based primarily in Old Trafford, overseeing both practices to ensure operational excellence, compliance, and efficiency.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Senior Accounting & Administration Coordinator to support both practices and the Senior Practice Manager. This dual-site role requires strong accounting and administrative expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. The successful candidate will work closely with the Practice Manager, providing regular updates and supporting operational and financial management across both locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the practice's ledger accounts and reconcile transactions.
  • Prepare PAYE, payroll, and statutory reports.
  • Oversee day-to-day administrative operations across both sites.
  • Support dentists and staff with HR-related administration.
  • Implement and maintain financial and administrative procedures.
  • Liaise with suppliers, accountants, and external partners.
  • Communicate regularly with the Senior Practice Manager, providing updates and insights to support decision-making.

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in accounting or finance, ideally in a small business or healthcare setting.
  • Strong administrative, organisational, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Comfortable using Excel and accounting software.
  • Ability to lead administrative processes and work autonomously.

About You

  • Financially literate, with experience in budgeting and payroll.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills.
  • Proactive, reliable, and capable of managing responsibilities across two sites.
  • Able to work collaboratively, providing Support and updates to the Senior Management Team.
