Modality Partnership AWC Division has a part-time vacancy (10 hours per week) for a Dispensary Delivery driver. The postholder will be based at Haworth Medical Practice transporting medication stock and medical supplies between AWC Modality sites and safely deliver dispensed medication to patients in a timely manner.We are seeking dedicated postholders to join our team and who can display our CARE values: Commitment, Accountability, Respect and Excellence. Salary for this role is £12.21 per hour.

Main duties of the job
The role is an all-rounded role: the postholder will need to provide a professional & efficient delivery service, meeting the demands & needs of medication and medical supplies across AWC Modality sites. Must be detail-oriented to keep track of deliveries, record orders, and confirm recipient identity (patient or practice site representative). Must obtain signatures from relevant recipients (nurse, practice manager, patient) upon delivery of medication or medical supplies. Must read and adhere to AWC Modality 'Dispensary SOPs' related to the delivery service, including an understanding of cold chain / controlled drug requirements for delivery. Work closely with the Dispensary team to ensure a safe & efficient service is provided for delivery of stock to practice sites and dispensed medication to patients when required. To load and unload medication supplies in an organised and safe manner, and in accordance with Dispensary SOPs. Ensure vehicle is locked at all times when not in use, and no medication is left in the vehicle overnight.

Responsible for the safe and timely transportation of medication stock and medical supplies between AWC Modality sites, including the secure delivery of dispensed medication to patients, as well as the secure transfer of medical records and documents between AWC Modality Partnership locations
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Proving a professional & efficient delivery service, meeting the demands & needs of medication and medical supplies across AWC Modality sites.
- Must be detail-oriented to keep track of deliveries, record orders, and confirm recipient identity (patient or practice site representative).

Qualifications and Experience: We require high performing team members to join our team with:
- Full UK Driver's License (Clean)
- Delivery driver experience: 1 year (required)
- English Language Skills (Level 2 / GCSE equivalent)
- Business Driver Insurance (covered)
- Fitness to drive - including declaration of any medical condition(s)
- Good communication
- Excellent safe driving

- Attention to detail
- Manual dexterity / Safe handling & lifting
