Chef de Partie – Preston Golf Club

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our team at Preston Golf Club, supporting both our members' restaurant and a busy function venue hosting events of up to 150 guests. This is a great opportunity for a confident CDP ready to step up in a high-quality, fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard, following set recipes and presentation guidelines
  • Work across various sections of the kitchen, supporting day-to-day service and function catering
  • Maintain excellent hygiene and food safety standards at all times
  • Ensure your section is clean, well-stocked, and organised for service
  • Assist with stock rotation and contribute to ordering when required
  • Support the training and development of junior kitchen team members
  • Contribute ideas to menu development and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a kitchen, ideally as a Chef de Partie or experienced Commis ready to step up
  • Strong cooking skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
  • Good understanding of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene
  • Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
  • A passion for producing high-quality food

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.30-£14.00 per hour
