Corporate Travel Consultant

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Corporate Travel Consultant to manage and evolve our portfolio of corporate business clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for booking and overseeing travel arrangements, maintaining and developing client accounts, ensuring outstanding customer service, and working proactively to enhance our corporate travel proposition. Drawing on experience gained in a strong corporate travel business, you will help us deliver excellent service and grow our corporate travel business.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary point of contact for a portfolio of corporate clients: understand their travel needs, preferences, budgetary guidelines, and travel policy requirements.
• Manage end-to-end travel bookings for flights, hotels, car hire/ground transportation, rail, visa/immigration and other ancillary travel services, for business travellers.
• Maintain client accounts: track travel spend, ensure adherence to travel policy and client budget guidelines, prepare and present travel reports/analysis, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships (airlines, hotel groups, ground providers) to negotiate preferential rates and service levels, and ensure consistent high-quality delivery
• Proactively identify and implement improvements to our corporate travel offering: recommend enhancements to processes, tools and client-service models in line with client needs and market trends.
• Provide problem-solving support for clients and travellers: handle last-minute changes, cancellations, disruptions, visa/travel documentation issues, and ensure traveller safety/duty-of-care.
• Collaborate internally with Sales, Account Management, Operations and Finance teams to support business growth, client retention and service excellence.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the travel industry:visa/travel regulations, technology platforms, GDS systems and market-trends.
• Meet and exceed agreed targets for account growth, client satisfaction, retention and revenue (bonus/commission linked).

Qualifications

• Proven experience (preferably 3+ years) in a corporate travel consultancy or business-travel management role, in a strong corporate travel business.
• Excellent customer-service skills: ability to build and manage client relationships, communicate clearly and professionally, anticipate and respond to client/traveller needs.
• Strong technical booking skills: proficiency with GDS or familiarity with consolidators, travel-booking platforms, itinerary management, ticketing, exchanges/refunds, etc
• Experience managing client accounts: monitoring spend, reporting, analysing trends, identifying savings or service improvements.
• Strong organisational and multitasking ability: able to manage multiple complex bookings/clients simultaneously, work under pressure, meet deadlines.
• Problem-solver: able to handle travel disruptions, last-minute changes, and respond with calm and effective service.
• Self-motivated and proactive: willing to contribute to shaping and improving the corporate travel offering at Savile Row Travel.
• Excellent IT skills: Microsoft Office (especially Excel), CRM/travel booking tools, comfortable with technology and adapting to new systems.
• Ideally, experience working in an office-based environment in the UK, with knowledge of UK/European travel policy/regulations.
• Strong attention to detail, high level of professionalism, and a service-first mindset.
