Cheerleading Coach

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Cheerleading Instructor / Supervisor to run a weekly after-school Cheerleading Club at a primary school in SE1, London (near South Bank). This role gives children the opportunity to build confidence, coordination, teamwork, and performance skills through fun cheer routines and movement-based activities in a supportive environment.
The club runs weekly, 3:30pm – 4:30pm (1 hour per week).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a small group of primary-aged children in cheerleading activities and routines.
- Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate sessions that develop coordination, rhythm, teamwork, and confidence.
- Encourage enthusiasm, self-expression, and enjoyment through movement and performance.
- Maintain clear communication with school staff and, where appropriate, parents regarding children's progress.
- Ensure the activity space and any equipment are safe, organised, and ready for each session.
Experience & Skills
- Experience teaching cheerleading, dance, gymnastics, or related movement activities to children.
- Ability to motivate and engage young learners in a structured yet enjoyable environment.
- Strong English communication skills for effective interaction with children, staff, and parents.
- A background in cheer, dance, gymnastics, sports coaching, or performing arts is desirable.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £32.00 per hour
