Are you a passionate and Professional Chef looking for a new challenge?

Nestled in the heart of Ringwood, The Inn On The Furlong is a local, independent family run pub. It is renowned for its warm hospitality, delicious home-cooked food, and vibrant atmosphere. We offer a variety of dining options, from hearty breakfasts to exquisite lunches and evening meals, all complemented by lively events and sports screenings.

We are looking for a Professional Chef to complement our kitchen team including stock control and menu development.

To thrive in this role, you will bring your love for creating delicious, freshly made food and your desire to work alongside our existing kitchen team.

This is not a live-in role.

Working Hours:

  • Approximately 45 hours per week
  • No Sunday evening shifts
  • No split shifts
  • No late evenings
  • Christmas Day Off

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Minimum of 2 years in food preparation and cooking
  • A deep love for food and a commitment to culinary excellence
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and practices

What will your role look like?

  • Consistently create dishes that meet our high standards of quality and presentation leading a small team
  • Maintain excellent standards of food safety, health and hygiene, along with efficient Stock Control
  • Bring enthusiasm and passion for food, driving our kitchen operations to new heights
