What the Role Involves
- Delivering engaging and high-quality Biology lessons in KS5 (and potentially KS4) that inspire curiosity and scientific thinking.
- Planning, assessing and reviewing student progress to drive outcomes and stretch students of all abilities.
- Working within the science department to develop curriculum, share best practice and contribute to enrichment activities.
- Supporting student outcomes in Biology through targeted intervention, academic mentoring and personalised support.
- Collaborating with sixth-form leadership to foster a positive, aspirational learning culture.
What the School is Looking For
We are looking for a motivated and passionate candidate with a strong subject knowledge in Biology, and ideally a 2:1 or First-Class degree from a top-30 UK university. Prior experience supporting young people, tutoring or working in an educational setting would be beneficial. You'll be proactive, resilient, and committed to helping students achieve their full potential.

Salary and Contract Info
- Inner London Main Pay Scale: £38,766–£50,288 (Upper Scale to £60,092) for Inner London schools.
- Full-time, long-term contract commencing January 2026 through to July, term-time only.
- Potential for added responsibility (TLR) and progression into teacher training or permanent employment following a successful placement.
