We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations, ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications while providing excellent patient care. This position requires a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance with all regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and restocking pharmaceuticals.
- Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries and offering guidance on medication usage.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
- Conduct medication administration under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the pharmacy environment.
- Participate in training programmes for new staff members as required.
Skills
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medication administration processes and protocols.
- Excellent patient care skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
