Duties

  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks to support kitchen staff
  • Clean and sanitise all kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces to uphold hygiene standards
  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware efficiently and promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors and storage spaces
  • Support with organising stock and ingredients to ensure easy access for the team
  • Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Support serving staff during busy periods by providing necessary assistance when required
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment at all times

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality is desirable but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of kitchen hygiene standards and safety procedures is advantageous
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
