Description:
Responsible for RFP review and risk assessment, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities for assigned contracts/programs
• Serves as the primary communication conduit between L3Harris and the respective customers
• Provides proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer requirements
• Analyzes material estimates, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Works with cross-functional team to prepare proposals and approvals
• Prepares and conducts negotiations
• Ability to think critically, problem solve and work independently
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task and determine priorities while working on multiple assignments
• Ability to negotiate contract terms and conditions with commercial, international and US Government customers
• Champions change management process with internal and external team
• Advises management of contractual rights and obligations
• Ability to clearly present information to broad audience, inclusive of management
Essential Functions:
- Ability to obtain USG clearance is desired, ability and willingness to travel, and work extended hours, as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of job area, typically viewed as having a specialty within Contracts management discipline.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- May have broad knowledge of project management.
- MS Office Suite Proficience
- NCMA Certification
- Strong communication skills
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado State, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont and New York State is $78K-$145K. For California, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area, the city of Denver, Washington State and New York City, the salary range for this role is $90-$167K. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
