Horton Housing Association are currently recruiting for a Homeless Outreach Apprentice to join our Bradford Homeless Outreach Partnership. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our friendly team, and learn from the very best. This role is Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm (35 hours per week - however some flexibility will be needed at times). Pay is £7.55 per hour.

What we are looking for

  • Any GCSE's
  • To have a good standard of written and verbal English
  • A friendly, welcoming and flexible approach.
  • Be reliable and non-judgemental.
  • Ability to use own initiative but be able to ask for help when required
  • Motivation and ability to develop support related skills and ability and put learning into practice
  • Motivation to learn about support work
  • Willingness and ability to follow instruction, direction and guidance
  • Willingness to undertake the academic training required for the apprenticeship
  • Willingness to undertake additional training to further knowledge and skills relating to the post
