Responsibilities

  • Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Assist in serving food and beverages to customers, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Adhere to food safety guidelines and hygiene practices to ensure a safe dining environment.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to meet customer demands efficiently.
  • Engage with customers, providing recommendations and upselling menu items to enhance their dining experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, including equipment and utensils.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout service periods.

Skills

  • Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, particularly in food preparation or serving roles.
  • Strong understanding of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene standards.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders accurately.
  • Experience in culinary settings is advantageous, with an emphasis on time management skills.
  • Ability to upsell menu items effectively while engaging positively with customers.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract
