Working Hours: 40 hours per week

We are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry to join our NHS client in Gosport, Hampshire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert psychiatric care within an inpatient setting for older adults

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualised treatment plans

• Lead multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to service development

• Offer clinical supervision and support to junior medical staff

• Ensure full compliance with the Mental Health Act (MHA) and other relevant legislation

Qualifications & Experience

• Full GMC registration

• Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status

• Extensive experience in Old Age Psychiatry, particularly in inpatient environments

• Proven experience in a consultant-level role
