We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full time hours for our NHS client based in Gosport, Hampshire. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract.
What will your responsibilities be?
You will diagnose and manage mental health disorders in adults, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Your role includes providing clinical care, guiding medication management, and offering therapeutic interventions. You will also oversee patient progress, adjust treatments as needed, and ensure detailed documentation. Additionally, you will advocate for patients' needs and support the care team with best practices in mental health management.
Qualifications and Experiences:
• You must have a full GMC licence to practice
• Section 12
• Approved Clinician
• Previous experience in similar role
