Our client is on the lookout for a SDR Manager to build, coach, and optimize a high-performing outbound sales team.

They are a global leader in business payments and financial technology and are now looking for a dynamic, people-driven
Sales Development Manager (SDR Manager)
to join their Sales Development leadership team in Reading. This is a key role focused on leading and developing their SDR division by driving opportunity generation and ensuring operational excellence across the sales funnel.

Responsibility & Requirements

Reporting to the Head of Global Sales, you will work closely with the leadership team to lead their global SDR function, ensuring consistent, effective go-to-market execution across international markets. You'll manage a team of
4–5 SDRs
, helping them deliver high-quality outbound pipeline.

  • Proven success managing SDR or Inside Sales teams
    in a B2B software or SaaS environment.
  • Must be hands-on, leading from the front coaching, motivating, and developing your team daily.
  • Your focus will be on building outbound strategy, refining messaging, driving KPIs, and empowering SDRs to succeed in a competitive, evolving landscape.
  • This role is ideal for a motivated, empathetic leader who knows how to build high-performing SDR teams in software or SaaS environments and wants to make a tangible impact on revenue growth.
  • Recruit, onboard, and lead a team of
    Sales Development Representatives (SDRs)
    focused on outbound prospecting and pipeline creation.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, call monitoring, and 1:1s to support continuous performance improvement.
  • Develop and execute strategic outbound programs that drive quality opportunities and meet pipeline targets.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align on strategy, campaign effectiveness, and revenue goals.
  • Use data and KPIs to track performance, identify trends, and optimize processes.
  • Collaborate with global SDR leadership to ensure consistency of process and approach.
  • Support sale efforts and lead generation, LI / email messaging refinement, sequence design, and use of tools such as

  • Bring creativity to outbound engagement, exploring new channels, technologies, and AI-driven methods to reach prospects.
  • Ensure compliance with
