Children's Support Worker

Making A Difference is a wrap around family support service that provides PA support in the home and activities in the community for children and young people with learning disabilities.
We are currently seeking community support workers for after school, weekends and school holidays.
Your role will be to support children and young people in the community on a 1-1 or 2-1 basis while parents take a break from their caring role. Activities may include things such as bowling, swimming, cinema, shopping, parks & soft play centres.

Key Requirements:
- Able to communicate effectively with children, young people, parents and colleagues
- Can work confidently alone and as part of a team
- Must have a clean drivers license and have access to their own car
- Experience in supporting young people with learning disabilities and/or challenging behaviours
- Able to support with after school activities and extra help during the during school holidays
- Able commit to working at least one Saturday or Sunday per week

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.30-£14.00 per hour
