Learning Support Assistant - Camden- Immediate Start

Us at Ribbons and Reeves are here to help you achieve that dream as we are working alongside a high achieving Primary school based in Camden that is looking to bring in a Learning Support Assistant. This is a full-time role starting in September on a long-term basis.

Learning Support Assistant - Salary and Contract:

  • £470 a week with holiday pay included, on a long-term basis.
  • Contract term - September 2025 to July 2026
  • Potential to become a permanent role or dive into a teacher training position.

Learning Support Assistant - Key Responsibilities:

  • Working 1-to-1 with small groups.
  • Providing support with pupils that have SEND.
  • Collaborating with SENDCOs and Teachers to provide and promote inclusive learning.
  • Creating and building a safe environment whilst also providing pupils with confidence and motivation.

Learning Support Assistant - What the School offers:

  • Full-time, long-term role starting immediately in September in a high achieving Primary school.
  • A plan to either help you start your teaching career or become a more established Learning Support Assistant.
  • Opportunity to gain classroom experience, SEN awareness and 1-to1 experience.

Learning Support Assistant - Ideal Candidate:

  • A recent graduate from either a Top 20 University or Russell Group.
  • Ideally a First-Class degree or 2:1.
  • SEN awareness and passion to help those with SEND.
  • Someone that is enthusiastic about education and providing support and to children that may need that extra help.
  • Confident, Patient and Proactivity whilst also showcasing initiative is important as a Learning Support Assistant
