The role:

• As Head of Category Innovation 12 MTH FTC you will be responsible for leading a category team across category strategy, innovation and execution.
• Leading a team of 5 you will support, lead and develop the team to deliver results and exceed expectations.
• In the role the Head of Category Innovation 12 MTH FTC will own the P&L and lead the 3-year strategy, 1 year pipeline and 6 weekly product launches operating at pace.
• The Head of Category Innovation 12 MTH FTC will set the direction and inspire the team to develop a deep understanding of the market, customer, trends and emerging technologies.
• In the role the Head of Category Innovation 12 MTH FTC will oversee the innovation road map and lead on financial analysis for future innovation along with the performance of campaigns, new products and product led marketing initiatives.
• Working with multiple stakeholders from around the organisation you will ensure end to end execution of strategy and continuously improve ways of working.

Ideal candidate:

• You will have strong experience in Food & Beverage with a background of hospitality, food retail or innovation led FMCG. Ideally you will have an appreciation or understanding of the difference between products that are hand finished or crafted in front of the consumer versus packaged/factory made.
• For the Head of Category Innovation 12 MTH FTC you will be a highly experienced category professional with a proven track record of owning a P&L and delivering both the strategy and execution of a short-, medium- and long-term innovation.
• Being results focused you will have a deep passion for understanding and interpreting trends and insights and have a proven ability to prioritise whilst at the same time will be more than comfortable in an ambiguous ever-changing consumer environment
• You will be highly collaborative and have the strength of relationship building and cross functional working skills that ensures end-to-end delivery across multiple functions
• You will be a strong leader having led and inspired teams of at least 4 team members
• It is essential to have fantastic stakeholder engagement, relationship building and communication skills both internally and externally. You will be comfortable regularly communicating with senior individuals including board level.

• Excellent package – up to £110,000 plus car allowance, bonus and excellent benefits
