ICT Category Manager 12 month FTC – Legal Sector - £70,000 plus Benefits. Remote + office x1 day per week (Choice of Multiple Locations).

A new opportunity for an ICT & Software services category manager for a Legal Services client. The role will focus on creating and implement strategic sourcing's strategies across the ICT category. In addition to creating category plans and developing key frameworks agreements to maximise value. This is a very dynamic focused company who are wanting to hear new ideas and innovations within the role. You'll play a key role in delivering strategic procurement initiatives across the technology category. You'll support contract renewals, manage ad hoc project requests (including website development), and help shape our category strategy through data analysis.

What the role involves:

  • Lead procurement activity across technology spend, including SaaS, cloud, software, and infrastructure.
  • Support contract negotiations, renewals, and commercial discussions.
  • Analyse spend data to inform category strategy and identify savings opportunities.
  • Stakeholder & Member Engagement: Build strong relationships with partners and strategic suppliers.
  • Contract Management

The person were hoping to find:

  • Experience in category management within the professional services categories. In particularly across ICT categories
  • Strong negotiation skills and good interpersonal and relationship building skills is important.
  • CIPS qualified or ambition to complete this (funding and training can be provided)
  • Proven experience in working in a fast moving and result driven environment which demands to work under pressure.
