Bridewell's Managed Security Services (MSS) division is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Quality Assurance and Development Lead to join our Security Operations Centre (SOC). This pivotal role will drive quality, consistency, and innovation across operational processes, ensuring our analysts deliver exceptional outcomes for our customers. Combining deep technical expertise with a creative mindset, you will design frameworks, labs, and training programmes that elevate team performance and operational excellence.
This is your opportunity to shape the future of SOC operations by embedding quality at the heart of everything we do. You'll work alongside talented analysts and responders in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment that protects UK Critical National Infrastructure and organisations demanding the highest standards of cyber security.
RequirementsQuality Framework Development:
Establish and maintain a robust AQL-aligned quality framework for SOC and IR ticket management.
Define and track KPIs aligned to quality management objectives.
Training & Development:
Design and build lab exercises for:
Interviewing and candidate assessment
New starter onboarding
Analyst revision and spot-check testing
Technical development pathways
Develop and deliver in-person technical trainings in areas such as triage, analysis, containment, eradication, Bridewell process specific training.
Deliver constructive feedback to analysts, develop and deliver their pathways, fostering growth and continuous improvement.
Deliver training sessions to customer security teams on investigative and response processes.
Process & Playbook Management:
Feedback and drive update incident response playbooks and alert guides to improve quality and operational outcomes.
Recommend and implement automation opportunities to enrich and enhance quality.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Gather feedback from customers and internal teams to shape quality initiatives, training materials, and frameworks.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
Adopt a thinker/creator mindset; identify opportunities, design solutions, and implement them independently.
Develop processes, materials, and frameworks that support SOC and IR excellence.
You will need to have experience in:
Technical Requirements:
Technical skillset equivalent to a Principal SOC Analyst.
Strong SIEM experience (such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk or Chronicle).
Incident Response experience (3+ years preferred).
Familiarity with automation and enrichment tools within SOC environments.

Excellent communication and feedback delivery; direct, constructive, and supportive.
Self-starter with a creative mindset.
