We are expanding our business and we are welcoming new members in our team. We want to get in touch if you are a compassionate Healthcare Assistant. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients in their own homes. This position requires traveling in the High Peak area so I driving license and access to own car is mandatory.

At the moment we advertise we cannot provide a sponsorship for this job.

Duties

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
  • Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Monitor and report any changes in patients' conditions or behaviors to the appropriate healthcare staff.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Document patient care activities accurately using our app.
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Driver and access to a car - we pay your mileage.
  • Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is preferred but not essential - full training offered
  • Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
  • A compassionate approach with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts as required by the role.
