Outwood Academy Adwick is an 11-18 academy based just north of the large, friendly, South Yorkshire city of Doncaster.

Join Outwood Academy Adwick in Doncaster, a dynamic and innovative learning environment dedicated to fostering curiosity and excellence in science education. We are seeking a Teacher of Animal Care and Science (subject to curriculum demand) with the ability to teach Animal Care at Level 2 (BTEC) and Level 3 (Animal Care T Level).

Your Role: As Teacher of Animal Care and Science, you will: 

Shape and implement a forward-thinking science curriculum that now incorporates animal care at Level 2 and Level 3. 

Foster a culture of inquiry, experimentation, and critical thinking among students, with the use of specialist facilities.

Work with a team of dedicated science educators (14 science teachers, 3 technicians and 1 workplace coordinator) to reach their full potential.

Collaborate with employers heads to create a holistic and integrated educational experience.
