Doncaster, Doncaster, United Kingdom Outwood Grange Academies Trust Full time £30,000 - £60,000 per year

Chief Executive Officer: Lee Wilson

Principal: Mandy Crane

We are an Ofsted Good rated, 11-18 academy, with a thriving sixth form and a campus undergoing a transformation, based in the friendly, South Yorkshire town of Doncaster.

We are proud to say that our recent OFSTED inspection in 2024 cited that the school is a 'Good' school, identifying how the school is an 'inclusive school' where 'pupils of every background are provided with the opportunities they need to be successful.' We value our staff highly, and have established a truly supportive environment where staff training and well-being is at the heart of all we do. We are focused on creating a culture of success, a positive climate for learning, and increased attainment, achievement and social and emotional development of our pupils is key so that they can navigate an ever-changing world with confidence and resilience.

We are proud to have been awarded Silver Status by the Carnegie Centre of Excellence for Mental Health Award and to have received the IQM Award recommended as Centre of Excellence for Inclusion, which highlights our commitment to inclusion. We have also recently achieved our Eco Schools award along with our Leading the Way award for meeting all eight Gatsby Benchmarks to support employability for our students.

We work hard to ensure we reduce workload on staff, allowing more time in the classroom to put our vision of students first, raising standards and transforming lives into practice.

All academies within the Outwood Family have gained the IQM Inclusive Schools Award with 18 having Centre of Excellence status and one holding Flagship status.

If you share our vision, join our family.

Outwood Academy Danum seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join us in this rewarding role. You will be required to work closely with the Head of Department and members of the Science Team to provide outstanding support by having the ability to organise, deliver and develop technical services to the Science Department in order to support the teaching of a range of Science subjects.

We are looking for an individual who has high aspirations for students, who is committed and passionate about learning; who has the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our single goal of 'Students First'. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, be organised and be able to remain calm in a busy environment. The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently whilst remaining a team player with a proactive approach to work.

Outwood Grange Academies Trust provides a high quality learning and cultural environment that inspires and motivates children. Whether you are ambitious for progress, or determined to be an outstanding member of our support team, Outwood Academy Danum is the place for you. Leadership development, succession planning and capacity building are major priorities for the Trust as this enables us to facilitate rapid progression for those who want to advance at all levels.

We are a dynamic organisation, recognised nationally as one of the highest performing family of schools in the North of England, and we currently sponsor over 40 schools.

Our educational blueprint has been developed through leading and supporting schools over many years.

We have used this successful blueprint to sponsor academies and have a transformational effect on children's life chances within very quick timescales.
