Temporary Finance Assistant – 3-month contract

On-site | 37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm)

We're looking for a hands-on
Finance Assistant
to support our busy, friendly finance team over a 3-month period. This is a great opportunity for someone with accounts/finance admin experience who enjoys variety and a fast-paced environment.


What you'll be doing:

  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date financial records in our accounting system
  • Processing sales invoices and credit notes promptly and accurately
  • Assisting with supplier statement reconciliations and resolving queries
  • Supporting with purchase invoice processing when needed
  • Providing backup support to Credit Control
  • Assisting the Finance Manager with ad hoc finance tasks and projects
  • Helping with year-end audit – supplying documentation and information
  • Supporting the rollout of new accounting systems/software
  • Answering phones and dealing with finance-related queries when required


About you:

  • Experience in a finance/accounts role (e.g. Accounts Assistant, Finance Administrator)
  • Confident using accounting software and Excel
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Organised, with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Proactive, flexible, and happy to support the wider team
