Temporary Finance Assistant – 3-month contract
On-site | 37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm)
We're looking for a hands-on
Finance Assistant
to support our busy, friendly finance team over a 3-month period. This is a great opportunity for someone with accounts/finance admin experience who enjoys variety and a fast-paced environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date financial records in our accounting system
- Processing sales invoices and credit notes promptly and accurately
- Assisting with supplier statement reconciliations and resolving queries
- Supporting with purchase invoice processing when needed
- Providing backup support to Credit Control
- Assisting the Finance Manager with ad hoc finance tasks and projects
- Helping with year-end audit – supplying documentation and information
- Supporting the rollout of new accounting systems/software
- Answering phones and dealing with finance-related queries when required
About you:
- Experience in a finance/accounts role (e.g. Accounts Assistant, Finance Administrator)
- Confident using accounting software and Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Organised, with the ability to meet deadlines
- Proactive, flexible, and happy to support the wider team
