Hospitality Co-Ordinator

CMS is looking for an experienced Hospitality Co-Ordinator to join our facilities team in Edinburgh.
About The Role
As a Hospitality Co-Ordinator you will be responsible for client and staff hospitality.
Your primary value in the role will be to ensure a 5-star standard of service is performed and make that all important first impression by demonstrating a high level of customer care and professionalism. You will support CMS in the service co-ordination and implementation of catering and room set ups for the Client Meeting spaces and maintaining staff breakout areas. Utilising all support available in the role you will co-ordinate all requests with Reception and Facilities to provide high quality services to deliver operational excellence.
In this role, you can expect to get involved in a variety of work including:
- Set up meeting rooms with catering and lunch/breakfast orders
- Ensure meeting rooms, the client self service and staff breakout areas are maintained to a very high standard
- Ensure meeting rooms are cleared and reset in a timely manner
- Perform and log daily checks within the meeting room suite and client self service area
- Provide high quality, reactive and pro-active support to these meeting rooms
- Check and order supplies/catering regularly. Complete stock/food orders with suppliers and control stock and reduce waste
- Ensure fridges and consumables in Servery, Client self service and staff areas are adequately stocked, dishwashers refreshed and coffee machines maintained as per schedule
- In collaboration with Assistant Facilities Manage regularly review suppliers and co-ordinate any changes to products
- Assist with client queries in person, by email or via telephone
- Ensure the Servery is always kept clean and tidy
- Take responsibility for Health and Safety within the remit of your role and work closely with the extended Facilities Team to ensure compliance
- Provide cover for reception during absences or holidays
- Be available to support out-of-hours and weekend events when required

- We are looking for an experienced Hospitality Co-Ordinator who is immediately available
- Good customer service skills with ability and confidence to work autonomously or in a team
- A positive attitude with an appetite for excellent customer service and a professional demeanour
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience and composure under pressure, ensuring a calm and efficient approach in busy environments
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene standards, with proven experience in handling food and beverages (essential requirement)
- Proficiency in using IT equipment and software programs, ensuring smooth operational support
This is a fully office-based role due to the nature of the responsibilities involved.
