As an Sous Chef Chef, you will be required to:

  • Prepare, cook and serve hot and cold meals, as and when required, providing for special dietary requirements and taking into account the preferences and cultures of residents.
  • Liaise with the Head Chef to plan menus.
  • Maintain accurate records of food supplies and freezer/fridge temperatures.
  • Ensure stock rotation.
  • Order stock and check deliveries against all delivery notes and in line with the Food Safety System in place.
  • Supervise and instruct Kitchen colleagues in the use of all equipment and hygiene procedures.
  • Ensure statutory Health & Safety standards are followed in the kitchen and dining areas.

Essential candidate criteria:

  • Basic Food/Hygiene Certificate.
